While much of the material is found in any Unix/Linux textbook, the most useful items are the exercises embedded in each module, and the tests. The author has spent some time structuring the course and linking exercises so that the student can understand how to potentially use the OS utilities. The tests are designed to provide immediate feedback.Technical Remarks: Navigation is not intuitively obvious. To begin the tutorial, click on the Assessments link, found near the top of the page. In general the test material is easy for the student to use. Many tests offer immediate feedback. There are a couple of "matching term" tests whose format needs to be clarified. Their current table format with borders is a bit confusing. The borders should be removed and the cell widths should be widened.
