4434Comment for Math And Physics Applets from Porscha McRobbie
http://www.merlot.org/merlot/viewComment.htm?id=387234
The applets are easy to use with a minimal amount of familiarity with a given topic. For topics less familiar to the user, the "Full Directions" are brief but complete regarding the physical system as well as details of the applet buttons/menus.Comment for Circular motion and Simple harmonic motion (Physics) from Porscha McRobbie

The concept underlying the applet is good, and the explanation is clear. However, the applet plays way too fast. Seeing something useful requires repetitive mouse clicking.Comment for The Binomial, Normal, and Poisson Distributions Compared from Porscha McRobbie

The applet is simple to use and clearly demonstrates the n and p dependence of the binomial distribution. Being able to overlay the corresponding Poisson and normal distributions also provides clear and useful comparisons.
