The aim of the ePortfolio California project is to understand what is required to develop an electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) service with a fiscal and technical model that supports a statewide, scalable and sustainable program for California educational institutions.ePortfolio California is focused on the development of a vibrant and interconnected community of practice, expanding on the work of the Electronic Portfolio Action and Communication (EPAC) group and collaborating with other state-wide, national and international ePortfolio organizations.ePortfolio California is participating in the interoperability standards work of the Academic ePortfolio Workgroup, a development group within the Post-Secondary Electronics Standards Council (PESC) .
