The Fibonacci sequence a set of numbers that is formed by adding the two previous numbers. Thus, the sequence is 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 etc. The golden ratio is the ratio between any 2 adjacent numbers in the sequence, which approaches 1.618 as you go further down the sequence. Nature has found the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio to be the most efficient ways to grow and form itself; this concept is called the path of least resistance. Because of this path of least resistance, the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio can be found throughout many forms of nature, such as pinecones, succulents, and nautilus shells.Lesson 5 - Polynomials
