            <title>Lesson Plans on Aging Issues</title>
            <link>http://www.merlot.org/merlot/viewMaterial.htm?id=613736</link>
<description>This site was designed for middle and high school teachers but many of the materials are appropriate for college-level courses as well. The lesson plans provided on the site are designed to teach about aging and the materials would be appropriate for courses in lifespan psychology, the psychology of aging, social psychology, and sociology. The plans include information and active learning exercises on topics such as: the Baby Boomers and Social Security, changing attitudes toward aging, cultural comparisons regarding aging, stereotypes and aging, longevity, myths about aging, and using demographics to predict the future of aging. </description>
