The main purpose is two fold. It helps a person choose a therapist, and gives general information about medications and other resources. In order to help a person find a counselor, the web site has a form that you can fill out that simply asks what your postal code is and what your area of concern is (example: 14601, anxiety). It doesn't get any easier than that to find a list of therapists in your area who handle the issue you present. It has two more areas that are interactive. There are chat groups for whatever ails you, and a survey you can fill out to determine if you have a problem with some kind of disorder. The only problem with the survey is that you don't get a clear diagnosis. That bring me to another point about this website. They don't believe in online therapy.
