Section one introduces the learner to the 3 parts of an essay the introduction,the body, and the conclusion. The second section teaches the learner to evaluate their essays by going through a writers checklist. The final part of the lesson includes a rubric of which students can view and understand how their essays will be scored in accordance with GED testing standards. Part 2 of the writing exam is an essay that allows only 45 minutes for students to complete. The essay portion of the GED exam affects student’s scores tremendously.
