            <title>Electronic Resume Submissions</title>
            <link>http://www.merlot.org/merlot/viewMaterial.htm?id=88026</link>
<description>Although this is an assignment for a professional selling class, the module can be easily used in any discipline. The author walks the student through the process of creating a resume, but not the typical type of resume. It is assumed that the student already has created a resume, and wants to submit it in electronic format. The author explains in detail the importance of submitting in &quot;plain text&quot; format and provides detailed steps of how to do so. He then explains how to submit the newly &quot;unformatted&quot; resume to a job website. In simple terms, even those students who are not familiar with posting documents will be able to submit resumes. Step 5 should not be used, as this submits the resume to the author.</description>
