Write a 5-7 page paper answering the following questions: 1) Was there a real Uncle Tom?, 2) How did the imagery of Uncle Tom affect the African-American population before the Civil WAr, after the Civil War, and in the early 20th century.? If you select "American Reviews," CLICK American Reviews. Write a 5-7 page paper based on reading FIVE contemporary reviews of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" evaluating the national response to the book.
