Description: Use the Retail Alphabet Game as a fun Ice Breaker at the beginning of the course. It gets students interacting with each other in a fun environment while providing some initial exposure to branding and advertising concepts.

Text of Learning Exercise: The Retail Alphabet Game can be used as a basis for an ice-breaker exercise at
the beginning of the term. Students should be divided into groups and then
given hard copies of one of the versions of the game. Give the student teams
10-15 minutes
to make as many matches as possible. Review the answers in class. The team
with the most matches wins a prize
(such as a few bonus points on their first exam.)
