Material: A Gentle Introduction to TeX
Submitted by: Bernd Schroeder on May 07, 2003
Date Last Modified: May 07, 2003
Title: LaTeX template
Description: A LaTeX template such as this one started me on typesetting in LaTeX. I have tried to showcase the LaTeX features that I (and presumably many other mathematicians) use most frequently. This template, plus basic knowledge of TeX as provided by Doob's "Gentle Introduction" should allow the user to typeset most kinds of papers in LaTeX. Fancier tricks can be picked up on an as-needed basis or through references such as L. Lamport's book on LaTeX.
Type of Task: Unsupervised
Topics: Typesetting in LaTeX
Audience: College General Ed, College Lower Division, College Upper Division, Graduate School, High School, Professional
Categories:
Technical Notes: User needs a LaTeX implementation such as MikTeX and (if so desired) a front end such as WinEdt or TeXnicCenter
