The instructor needs to explain that individuals have different communication
styles, to provide the URL for the Personality Inventory, and answer vocabulary
questions as students complete the inventory.

The students need to answer all questions in the inventory, to understand and
interpret the results.

A supplemental activity required students to share their interpretation with the
class in a short speech.

Class discussion after the speeches enhanced understanding of the results of the
inventory and their appreciation of commonalities and differences.
