Text of Learning Exercise: This website was used to introduce students to the basics of speech preparation.

One class period was used to introduce the topic and the website to the
students. The site was helpful because no textbook is used in 9th Grade Speech
and the website is a very basic but user-friendly introduction to the major
concepts and activities involved in speech preparation and presentation.
Students had to print out the information contained on each of the modules for
quick future reference.
