The terms gain and loss should not be used in place of increases and decreased when presenting this issue. No attempt has been made to link the discussion to the accounting equation. The material is merely text to be read and not a tutorial, which presents content and then has the learner practice before moving on. The ALCIE listed in MERLOT is so much better.
