After reviewing this tutorial material followed by a practice section and a finally a quiz/test I think it is a great resource for introducing the concepts of research methods across multiple disciplines. It is simple yet informative. It also covers a fair amount of detail in a short time using appropriate examples for various disciplines. This material's potential effectiveness as a teaching tool is very high especially in introductory courses.

Technical Remarks:

The tutorial allows users to navigate anywhere on the site at any point in the learning and is very simple. Adobe Shockwave is needed and linked for download if necessary. Overall this material is a great way to provide students with out of class interactive learning material. **When I used it as an assignment, students had lots of trouble on the post test and getting the results to me wither through a emailed word doc or any other form.. just something to think about.
