This is an extraordinarily comprehensive course development tutorial/process. I appreciate the focus on student learning outcomes/goals, and the desire to design the course in a manner in which achievement of the outcomes can be facilitated and assessed. I especially appreciated the wide range of assessment tools.
The only potential drawback is that the tutorial is appropriately comprehensive - faculty looking for a quick fix or 10-minute-course-development workshop have come to the wrong site. The creation or revision of a course should involve deep consideration of goals and methods, and this tutorial can readily help you to do this. There is an expectation that days are spend on this process, and I can't wait to block out time so I can work through the lessons and take full advantage of the process. I also appreciate the information for those running faculty development sessions - I expect to use this in the future.
