This site would be an excellent supplementary learning source in an introductory/semi-advanced biology course. Hitting on all the key subjects in biology, there is a lot of information to be garnered from this site. The information all seems to be relatively current in terms of what is currently accepted by the biology community. Unfortunately the software for the applications on the site is no longer available which severely limits the ability of this site to be used as a learning object other than that of an open source text book.
