iTunes U is a valuable educational tool that instructors may use to share course content with both their students and the world. Instructors and students may also utilize content shared by other individuals and institutions. One significant drawback with iTunes U courses, however, is that they are designed primarily to be viewed on a single device, the iPad. This limits to some extent who can access the content. iTunes U collections, on the other hand, may be accessed on a variety of devices. As someone who is continually looking for open educational resources, iTunes U is an invaluable tool.
