This online version of the OLF famous bilingual technical dictionary (from Quebec) is an important resource for courses dealing with technical or specialized vocabulary. I use it mainly in advanced and graduate courses in translation and multimedia resources. One may search for words in English or in French. The search engine retrieves the fields or domains of application of the words, provides translations, closely related words and "expressions to be avoided" - which are often literal translations. Comments on usage show how French Canadian usage differs from metropolitan French usage. For an example see the discussion on "mel" and "courriel".
