This site has an online learning styles inventory that could be useful to
students who are trying to decide if they can benefit from distance
education/online learning. In general, if a student is
linguistic/visual/intrapersonal, then they should succeed in distance education.
If a student tends to kinesthetic, auditory, interpersonal learning styles,
then traditional face-to-face learning may be more appropriate.
