Comment: This is one of those sites providing information "for Dummies" that I don't
usually like. However, I have so many students that are simply overwhelmed by
the data handling and statistical approaches to research, and this site, through
graphics and animations, provides a non-threatening overview. Perhaps the
result is a scaffolding of general approaches to research upon which students
can hang the details as they get into specific projects.

Technical Remarks:

This site is easy to navigate, but perhaps an assignment will help students get
new knowledge out of viewing the Shockwave animations. Examples from Biology, Geology, Psychology, and Sociology are displayed.
