Strengths:: Addresses the issues of checking content-specific requirements, video equipment, practicing with the equipment, and who can help with the recording. Nicely interjects quiz questions with feedback.
Concerns:: There was no explanation of what edTPA is.

Strengths:: The material allows for pre-service teachers to gain insight into introductory information as they begin to plan for the edTPA video segment.It can easily be used by teacher educators in programs other than at Lehman.

Strengths:: There is a built-in flexibility in use of slide for pre-service teachers prior to student teaching as well as those in the midst of student teaching and preparing edTPA plans. The slides are set up in a manner that allows for flow between steps/stages with intermittent checks for understanding.
Concerns:: At some points there were no backward arrows. Design quality could be improved.

Other Issues and Comments:: This is a great tool for early introduction to the planning of the edTPA video segment. Tasks can be set up for individual or group work.We would like to see the subsequent tutorials as is suggested by comment on last slide.It is a very large file that takes quite a while to download even with a high capacity connection which is unfortunate for such a brief slideshow.
