Overview:: From organizing big ideas to creating and tracking life hack, Mind Vector allows users to use data visualizations and mind maps to make connections and improve productivity. Users can organize ideas and/or research.

Recommended Uses:: Educators could introduce students to the process of organizing ideas using mind maps. These maps could be used across disciplines and throughout the semester or school year to reinforce organizational tools as mental organizers. With any content, groups or individuals could use the app to organize projects or assignments.
Technical Requirements:: Works on PC and Mac. Works with iOS and Android devices. For the iOS devices (including iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch) it requires iOS 8.4 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Strengths:: It can be used during introduction of new concept, as application of material already presented, and/or topics for discussion/debate. While the content is up to the user, the app helps users to organize their thoughts and ideas.

Strengths:: While there is no learning content to integrate into curriculum, users can quite easily incorporate the practice of using the tool as an ancillary support of the curriculum itself. The strength of the app comes in its flexibility – Mind Vector can serve as a versatile tool for myriad stages of the learning process.

Strengths:: Even on mobile, the app is incredibly easy to use, allowing users to quickly put ideas down in the app and sort them in multiple formats. Media can be appended to text nodes, and there are multiple views that can be used to organize and present content to others. The app is unobtrusive and encouraging of brainstorming and creativity. The user is able to import items as well as share productivity with others.

Other Issues and Comments:: The app is available in 8 language variations. An upgrade is needed to have full access to all sharing tools ($9.99 as of March 2017). Users receive 3 maps for free. After that, they need to upgrade to the paid version of the software.
