Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
Rating:
Strengths:
The website indicates that the materials could be useful for business majors, those interested in employee ownership of business, educators, and companies. There are case studies for use with real-world applications. According to the website, materials could be used to "facilitate classroom discussion."
The variety in potential uses of this site make the collection a very effective teaching tool. Case studies for example, are provided for free, so between those and the Internet alone, a teacher could put together a lesson plan. Two Teaching Modules are provided and they include details from syllabi to lesson plans, case studies and other resources layed out in a class by class schedule. A clever instructor could use this site to craft an entire class out of mostly free materials and guest speakers.

Many materials such as articles and case studies can be downloaded in PDF format. Videos can be shared from YouTube.
Other Issues and Comments:
Be aware that not everything is provided for free, for example clicking on a link to one of the books provided might take you to Amazon for purchase.
Materials could be useful for businesses, business majors, and those interested in business practice and policy.
