The textbook is premised on the assumption that wisdom is an attribute we can develop and it lays out a framework to do so.
Footnotes are included, an introduction of what will be discussed in the chapter is provided, exercises are provided, and the goals of the chapters are provided.
Key takeaways are provided for different sections, and a summary of what was covered in the chapter is provided at the end of the chapter, for example, in part one. At the beginning of part two, learning objectives are provided.
The author offers access to other course documents on demand such as course outlines, assignment ideas, grading rubrics, test banks, and experiences the author had in teaching this material.
Concerns:
Issues on diversity of ideas, internet communication technologies and borderless communication have to be included in a comprehensive manner;
