The major learning goal of this site is to introduce students to the fundamentals of bell ringing. The site is interactive in that it allows the user to manipulate the pitches and intonation of the bells as well as the bell sequence to simulate English bell ringing. |

No prerequisite knowledge or skills are necessary for the use this site. However, the site does not provide any explaination of the art of bell ringing. Students using this site would either need to have some background information about bell ringing on their own or have it provided by a teacher. |

This site needs a Java2 plug-in to operate. It works well on a PC or Macintosh G4, G3 and iMac under OS 8.0 or higher using MS Explorer. The user may have problems running this applet using Netscape 4.75. |
