Content Quality

Rating: 4 stars
Strengths: This is a respectable collection of digitized literary texts that may not be
available in every library. The choice of works is excellent, reflecting the
major Brazilian authors who appear in survey courses.
Concerns:

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Rating: 3 stars
Strengths: This site is best suited to the individual user who seeks easy access to these
works of literature. The works can be accessed alphabetically by author, by
title, and by century. A parchment-like background gives the reader the feel of
reading a book. The pages have an extremely simple, consistent design,
indicating an emphasis on content over form.
Concerns: It would be nice to see the 20th century collection expanded. It would also be
nice to see the original date of publication of all the primary texts near the
title.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Rating: 4 stars
Strengths: The categorization of works by century and then by author or title is completely
straightforward. Users will find what they are looking for without difficulty.
