Overview: This web site provides an informational resource for Risk Analysis and
Management for Projects(RAMP). Many companies have become insolvent because they
have not paid enough attention to risk due to disasters like 9/11, natural
disasters like Katrina, or hacking attacks. Existing methods of risk management
often fail to identify many of the risks. A new method for dealing with such
problems is known as RAMP. This site is an informational site about project risk
management and is geared toward the education of professions involved in
projects. It covers such topics as risk identification, risk analysis,
evaluation of financial implications and risk mitigation.

management site provides an understanding of the life cycle process of dealing
with risk management in business.

This site seeks to educate the viewer on what risk management is, how to
mitigate risk, and how risk management is used during a project life cycle. The
information is cursory.

Evaluation and Observation

Content Quality

Rating: 3.1 stars
Strengths: The strength of this content are the case studies which could be used to discuss
risk management within a lecture style presentation or as a follow up
assignment researching how the risk for the companies mentioned could be
handled. The material is easy to understand and does a fair job of introducing
risk management activities.

Concerns: More useful for a business systems analysis class than a pure IT class. The
site is specifically geared toward selling seminars for professionals leading
projects.
