Evaluation and Observation

Content Quality

Rating: 3.8 stars
Strengths: The module includes interesting examples, content, and documentation of
advertising slogans and business situations.
Concerns: The frame format of the web site results in a rather "busy" screen as it is very
full of text.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Rating: 4 stars
Strengths: The site contains lots of good examples. The international ads and campaigns
are well incorporated. The archive collection contains past years, ratings,
etc. It would be a good resource to show students or add to a list of
interesting advertising links.

Concerns: None.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Rating: 4 stars
Strengths: Very professionally designed site with online video clips also available.
Concerns: The screen is a little "busy" with the left-hand frame taking up a large portion
of the screen. The 2-column format of the articles is often pretty
crowded. The column separation is not always visually clear and concise.
