Overview: This site presents a case study problem, applied to the international
pharmceutical industry.
Learning Goals: Learning goals include the following:
* To provide students the application of marketing research and industry
analysis.
* To develop research and presentation skills.
* To understand ethics, morality, nepotism, and abuse of power and influence.
Target Student Population: Senior-level undergraduate capstone application and/or graduate students.
Prerequisite Knowledge or Skills: Foundational and upper-level course/preparation regarding marketing research and
environmental/situtational analysis.
Type of Material: Case study/application.
Recommended Uses: The material can be used as a supplement to class discussion or presentation for
classroom. The module could also be used as a team research project.

Content Quality

Rating: 5 stars
Strengths: The module includes introductory information to assist in cognitive thinking.
It is well-written and professionally designed.
Concerns: Because the module is developed on an introductory level, it may not have the
depth and breadth of content that some instructors desire.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Rating: 4.1 stars
Strengths: This module presents an excellent real-world application for students to work as
a research/marketing analysis team. The easy to use format and presentation of
the brief narrative assists students in required decison-making.
Concerns: Instructors would need to clarify how or if specific grading/evaluation would be
different than that communicated within the module. Specific assessment
guidelines are not available on the open/public portion of the site.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Rating: 4.7 stars
Strengths: The module is an excellent application with good links to additional resources.
It is well-written and quite clear regarding the instructions, the importance
of specific components, and the site's navigation.
Concerns: Thehe module could improve through the addition of relevant facts necessary to
frame a well developed and reasoned decision regarding an outcome.

Other Issues and Comments: Nicely done. Easy to navigate. Very professional looking site/materials.
