Overview: Technological Literacy website provides comprehensive information on technology
as an important component of cultural literacy. The website is designed for a
general audience including educators and learners who are interested in
exploring technology- and society-rrelated topics. It includes up-to-date
information from various respected organizations such as National Science
Foundation and Battelle Memorial Institute. Both historical and contemporary
technolgical literacy information is available in visual and interactive formats
as well as print format. This website is also a great resource for educators.
Learning Goals: Readers of this website can access many credible and interesting information
sources and increase their technological literacy. They will be able to develop
deeper appreciation for technologies and their roles in the society. This site
could be used for research about technical literacy, and as a resource for
practice by teachers at all levels.
Target Student Population: This website is most useful for teachers, researchers, and anyone who is
interested in technology and society issues.

website designers pay attention to the girls and their use of technologies.

helpful for teachers who want to recommend certain websites to their students.
