Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Rating: 5 stars
Strengths: As stated above, this module has wide applicability and can be used as an
effective teaching-learning tool for student?s to assess their learning styles. It can
also be easily integrated into an instructor?s class at the start of a semester, and
will work well in both face-to-face and fully on-line courses. The assignment that is
provided on MERLOT is targeted to classes that use group projects or
student-learning teams, but other assignments can easily be written for this
module. The authors of this module provide a wealth of information and examples
on how they have applied their assessment of learning styles in their own classes,
which other instructors will find useful.
Concerns: none

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Rating: 5 stars
Strengths: The survey is taken on-line, and the results are received as soon as one submits
their responses. The results can easily be printed out. The results page could be
improved by adding colors to the graphs; but as far as useability is concerned,
the module is scores high on this dimension.
Concerns: none
