The PDF copy of the briefing is 26 pages and is illustrated with graphs. As an introduction to issues related to the globalization of technology, there is sufficient content. |

Due to the nature of the resource, an issue briefing, it would be best utilized within the context of an assignment that would encourage students to thoughtfully engage the material within the report. |

This resource contains a good deal of information. Some good use of graphs and tables. |
| Concerns: |
Too text heavy, navigation is a little confusing and does not provide access to all pages of site. Also, content text is located in a narrow column in the middle of the page surrounded by other distracting features of the website. This resource is essentially a report that is available online. Like any online briefing, report, or journal article, the resources is almost entirely text. As a means to improve readability the content of the site is offered via PDF. However, the formatting of this PDF could be improved. Text colors, such as blue, that often are used to indicate hypertext links are used for heading and quotes. Essentially the PDF looks like someone hastily moved a web page into PDF format, losing some of the readability advantages that are presented by PDF (e.g., better print formatting). |
