Strengths: A variety of polynomial topics are presented.
Concerns: The answers are not dynamically generated; they are static. Once the answer is given and the question revealed, the element of “surprise” is lost and students can simply memorize the question.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Strengths: This learning object provides an enjoyable way to review polynomials.
Concerns: As stated earlier, the answers are not dynamically generated; they are static. Once the answer is given and the question revealed, the element of “surprise” is lost and students can simply memorize the question. Only one of each type of problem is given.

Strengths: The review game can be run in the frames view or as a slide show.
Concerns: No directions are given. Someone who does not understand how a PowerPoint presentation is run might just click down the list of slides in the frames view.
