Searching for Information is the second part of a 5-part information tutorial, which covers different types of information, keyword searching, synonyms, brainstorming, and other topics associated with information searching. |

| Strengths: |
This tutorial is very clear and easy to follow. It completely demonstrates the process of conducting research for a paper, from understanding the research question to figuring out the difference between a keyword search and a subject search. It explains what Boolean operators are and how to use them. At the end it summarizes what has been learned. |

| Strengths: |
This learning object reinforces the concept of what searching is and how to search using library databases. It explains and shows how searching the "web" is like searching in a landfill for information, in conparison to searching in a refrigerator for food in neat little containers. These "neat little containers", like the library databases, make it easier and more efficient to find what you want. |

Although easy to read with an attractive design, the amount of content is large. |

| Strengths: |
This is a very easy tutorial to use and understand. There is not too much information on each page, and it uses good graphics. It lets the learner practice what is being taught. It flows in a logical sequence from traditional "hard copy" library sources to "library web" sources to the "general web". |

It could use more interaction and more explanation of the interactive elements it does use. |

The submission of the Tutorial for Info power in several parts seems appropriate as each section contains enough information for a stand-alone learning object. |
