|
| Strengths: |
The learning material presents detailed pictures of famous psychologists and some information describing the images too. Most of the images are clear and of good quality. |
| Concerns: |
The site is very limited in terms of a collection of actual information and it provides very little to no information on the images presented. Also the concepts that the famous pictured psychologists are known for are not defined here at all. Some of the images are rather small. None of the images have alt tags (text-based descriptions that are part of the images' properties). |

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool |
Rating: |
|
| Strengths: |
The learning material provides images that directly relate to the major concepts discussed in most general psychology courses. The collection of images could help students identify famous psychologists and add visually appealing aspects to a lecture.
Some aspects of the pictures could be highlighted in a lecture such as the contact comfort image of the monkey and cloth and wire moms. |
| Concerns: |
The material provides limited information to teach students and the pictures cannot teach students much besides the presentation/physical appearance of the psychologist.
It would be difficult to integrate this material in a course in any other way besides a lecture/presentation.
The limited number of images decreases the potential effectiveness of the site. The site would be more useful if there were more images from a greater variety of areas within psychology and related disciplines. |

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty |
Rating: |
|
| Strengths: |
The module has the learning objectives listed front and center atop the web page, making it easy to understand the purpose of this site.
Images are divided up into specific psychological categories making it easy to locate a specific one. The site is clearly labeled and easy to navigate. The images can be easily saved. |
| Concerns: |
The site has very little color and is overall a bland web page.
Some of the links do not work correctly such as the Dali painting. |
|
|
| Other Issues and Comments: |
The images would be more useful if the author added alt tags. This would allow instructors to more easily meet ADA compliance with the use of images. |
