We empower educators and students with the technology to create GLOGS - online multimedia posters - with text, photos, videos, graphics, sounds, drawings, data attachments and more. A Glog is created using a very easy to understand, drag and drop interface that is relevant, enjoyable, and scalable for students of all ages and learning styles.
While there is a subscription fee, a free version is also available. |

This site would be appropriate for more experienced elementary students through post high school. Teachers could use this product to create a teaching tool for any content area. College and University professors and students could use this tool effectively. |

| Strengths: |
This site uses current technology that could be used to showcase any content area. The significance of this site is that it uses engaging interactive technology that students can use with very little additional instruction. The content is customizable by the user. |
| Concerns: |
More user-friendly instructions on installing the free version would be helpful. Teachers would be able to use the free version only if they took the time to troubleshoot the installation instructions and not be overly frustrated with glitches when saving. |

| Strengths: |
Glogster EDU is convenient for any instructional setting that requires a presentation. Students can use their creativity to present information beyond graphics and text (a traditional poster) because they can embed audio and video content.
This site has been endorsed by educational affiliates that have high regards for curriculum and technology standards: Discovery Education, wikispaces, edmodo, TeacherTube, ISTE, and School Tube
The Premium packet has a additional uses, but that does not completely limit those who want to use the basic (free) components for a presentation. GlogsterEDU can be used for book reports, research reports, class projects, homework, distance learning, presentations and assignments on any topic, creating a digital knowledge library (saving paper), expanding student presentation skills, and making learning fun. |

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty |

The program is user-friendly and incorporates many of the features that one would send using MSWord. The icons guide the users through the development of their Glogster. |
| Concerns: |
Teachers would need to download and set-up users before students can use. Users need to know how to change file formats (to jpeg) for pictures to be usable. Saving can be glitchy; sometimes it doesn’t save when it appears that you did save correctly. |

This tool has the potential for producing extremely engaging teaching/learning posters. |
