A lot of information is provided in a short amount of time.
Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool
The site not only covers FDIC rules, it also covers basic terminology in the financial arena. Learning objectives are identified and concepts are reinforced progressively building on prior concepts. Overall the videos are very efficient, and viewers have the potential to learn much in a short time. Each video beings with an introduction, builds on prior concepts, and reinforces concepts progressively.
Note taking will require a lot of repetition for many of the videos.
Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
The videos are easy to use. Sound is excellent. Images are clear and in focus at all times. The videos are visually appealing and of high design quality.
Interactivity and engagement is lacking. Some initial confusion may be experiences as a result of the multiple choices on the home page.
