Evaluation and Observation

Content Quality

Rating: 4.5 stars
Strengths: The video is well made and the steps are clear. To make it even more effective, it would be helpful to include the following: 1. Captions 2. Downloadable guide with screenshots and instructions
Concerns: There is a lot of information; this video could be split up into shorter segments. Perhaps links could be included to additional SharePoint training resources and guides.

Potential Effectiveness as a Teaching Tool

Rating: 4 stars
Strengths: The video is well done; however, it could be broken down into smaller chunks.
Concerns: The only concern is the sheer amount of information. This tutorial would be more effective if it's broken down into shorter segments and there is a guide with captioned screenshots.

Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty

Rating: 4.25 stars
Strengths: The video is professionally done; it's clear and concise. There is a voluntary quiz for learners who want to test their knowledge. The format is intuitive (play-pause-stop-replay).
Concerns: The video is geared towards a Registrar's office; there are no resources or examples of other users for SharePoint. Please add captioning for the video.

Other Issues and Comments: There is a lot of information to process in one video. More activities could be added in addition to the quiz; the video can be "chunked," and a printed guide with captioned screenshots will help in working through this module.
