Learning Goals: There are no specifically stated learning goals, but the web site is clearly designed to connect the academically minded gardener with the hobbyist.
Target Student Population: Intended for use by undergraduate level students as well as gardening hobbyists.
Prerequisite Knowledge or Skills: For the taxonomic aspect, it would be good to have had at least Introductory Botany. The rest of the website has resources that can assist the novice gardener as well as the advanced.
Type of Material: This website offers guides that list plant species within a variety of different areas of interest. IT offers videos, articles and recipes. Essentially, Gardenguides.com provides a little bit of everything.
