- Discuss the Darwinian Theory of Evolution based on the principle of Natural Section and determine that evolution is the “core theme” of Biodiversity.
- Explore and compare the form and function of bacteria, protists and fungi.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of plant and animal diversity.
- Identify the basic functions of living organisms, including a comprehensive understanding of organismal systems.
- Understand ecological interactions between organisms and the environment, as well as energy flow, material cycling and the impact of climate on terrestrial and aquatic biomes.
