Description:

This Powerpoint was prepared as a result of an Internet Safety Student study done in a mid-western middle school. The presentation was intended for parents and grandparents. The study results on student internet use are included. Students took an Internet survey on the computer and answered questions regarding their Internet use. Results were compared to a national study. Education majors will be interested knowing how students use technology, which will be helpful in teaching Internet Safety to elementary and middle level students. Pre-service teachers could use this information to create a student-parent-school safety contract or Internet Safety unit.
