Description:

This is a free, online textbook that addresses intellectual property.  According to the author, "the first goal of the book is to introduce you to intellectual property, to explain why it matters, why it is the legal form of the information age. The second goal is to persuade you that our intellectual property policy is going the wrong way; two roads are diverging and we are on the one that doesn’t lead to Rome. The third goal is harder to explain. We have a simple word for, and an intuitive understanding of, the complex reality of 'property.'"

Each chapter is downloadable as a pdf file.
