The Information Literacy Game was created to reinforce information literacy concepts. It allows from two to four students to play against each other by answering questions about information literacy topics in four different categories (such as Choose your Resource, Avoiding Plagiarism, and Searching and Using Databases). The game also has a one-player version in which students provide timed responses to questions. In addition, the game includes special squares placed around the board where students are asked to evaluate either one or two websites and answer a question based on that evaluation.
The Game is open and was created for the adaptation and use of other educators and librarians. A guide to modifying the game and the necessary files are provided on the website.
