EdTechTalk describes itself as "a community of educators interested in discussing and learning about the uses of educational technology". Webcasts are live several times a week. Highly, interactive shows where "listeners can use any common media player (i.e. Windows Media Player, Real Player, or iTunes) to listen to the discussion and use the chat room to make comments and ask questions".
Webcasts are recorded and archived as mp3 files "which can be downloaded directly from the site or subscribed to via an RSS feed. Chats are transcribed and a comment forum are provided so discussion can be continued even after the show.
EdTech Talk lists times in GMT so people can listen from all over the world. EdTech Talk received a 2008 Edubloggers award for the work best use of audio.
