This lesson plan is part of a series of three linked plans that aim to help students use academic materials properly, use correct referencing methods in their writing and avoid plagiarism, accidental or otherwise. The plans are written to McREL standards (Grades 6-12) and use a variety of mixed activities and resources to help students get the most out of what can be a very dry subject.
The plans help students build skills for life, whatever level they are taught at, and there is an overlap with many of the other McREL standards which are described in them. They can be reproduced for classroom use.
