Description:

This Stand-Alone Instructional Resource (StAIR) is an interactive assessment designed to provide users with information and background on web browsers, so an informed decision can be made on the selection of a new browser.

General features of web browsers are presented, and their basic features.  Evaluation factors are explored and the top four browsers (in terms of popularity and use) are individually analyzed and compared.  Links to supporting information and helpful online utilities are also provided, and short quizzes assess the content that is learned.
