The Maui County High School Technology Survey

This paper describes the Women in Technology Project's intervention efforts targeting women in high school, postsecondary education, and the workforce. This includes a survey of all junior and senior students at the Maui County high schools. The paper examines the results of this study including gender differences in perception of math, science, and computer education and technology. Among other results, the survey indicated that more female students are interested in computer careers after the rise of non-violent games such as The Sims.
