Material Detail

This case study involves basic genetics, animal breeding, genetic diseases and the use of positive and negative controls during scientific investigations. It will give students the opportunity to practice designing scientific experiments and draw conclusions based on real data. It would be helpful in a unit on animal husbandry or general genetics. The material would be appropriate for high school or lower level undergraduate students. The case study and teaching notes may be downloaded in PDF format. The site also includes a section for instructor feedback where general comments may be read and contributed.
