This suite of 10 library research tutorials take college students through the research process including narrowing a topic, critically thinking about sources, navigating library databases, and citing sources.  Each video lasts from 5 to 12 minutes and includes active learning elements and quizzes.  Users can select tutorials in any order and navigate within  tutorials to the section of interest, as well as pause and review.  These tutorials follow the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education.  Tutorial topics include:  Topic to Keywords, Popular v. Scholarly, Primary v. Secondary, Finding Books, Finding Articles, Research on the World Wide Web, Plagiarism, and Citing Sources.  

This curriculum is focused on giving freshmen and sophomores the concepts, skills, and knowledge to develop a researchable topic that meets a need, find resources in the library and Web, evaluate the authority and relevance of that information, and use it according to ethical and discipline standards.
